Handheld and mobile devices

Besides getting certain handheld devices onto the UVM wireless network, handheld and mobile devices are not supported by Student Technicians working at the Computer Depot Clinic and the Helpline. If an individual tech has knowledge about the handheld, they may be able to give some assistance, but the Helpline and CDC technicians do not support all of the various phone and smart phone models in use at UVM. Using the support for your device provided by the manufacturer or provider is a good alternative.

ETS documentation and resources are available and there is a mobile mailing list which you can subscribe to, to direct questions to ETS Staff members who may be better able to help. The documentation and resources hold information about email and calendar settings.
